WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Senior People Business Partner, you will play a key role in aligning people strategies with NKF objectives, providing support and guidance to employees and senior leadership in your assigned (internal) client group. You will operate skillfully as both a strategic thinker and operational executor.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop strategies to support them.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on People-related issues.
  • Leverage data to use as insights in making people-related decisions.
  • Partner with leaders to assess the optimal organizational design to optimize performance.
  • Facilitate change management strategies and practices to ensure the successful implementation of organizational initiatives.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to establish workforce planning needs and strategies.
  • Implement talent development programs to nurture employee growth and succession planning.
  • Employ coaching strategies for leaders and staff.
  • Provide guidance on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Design and deploy total rewards strategies that attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to support and enhance DEI initiatives, employee engagement, belonging, and retention.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.


WHAT YOU’LL POSSESS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or SHRM certification will be a plus.
  • Seven to ten years of proven experience as a People Business Partner or similar role; experience across most, if not all, people practice areas.
  • Strong understanding of People practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to critically assess challenges and identify creative, effective solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in related technical applications and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range: $ 120,000 - $140,000/ yr. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity.
