Job description

Duties and Essential Functions

  • Respond to all payroll inquiries via ticket system (internal system) / Payroll email in-box, resolving payroll discrepancies from managers and employees.
  • Process bi-weekly, U.S. exempt and non-exempt payroll for 2200 employees utilizing UKG; including but not limited to, importing hours, processing bonuses, garnishments, retro pay, taxes, and off-cycle requests while ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Works as Administrator of the Time and Attendance System (UTM-UKG product). Respond to inquiries of time and/or time off. Will order timeclocks and be responsible for complete set up for new locations and will work with local managers to obtain time clock(s) for closing locations.
  • Back-up for monthly supervisor/manager payroll training
  • Assist Payroll Director with special projects.
  • Assist with yearly 401K audit and 401K inquires.
  • Process verification of employment
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift objects up to 25 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company.
Travel
Some travel may be required to attend company sponsored meetings and training at the corporate location.
Required Education and Experience
  • UKG experience required (UTM - Ultipro Time Management preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • FPC or CPP Certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must have working knowledge of computers
