- Ensure goals related to operational performance, quality and positive employee relations are communicated and achieved through standardization, sharing of best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Implement staffing strategies so we can fulfill commitments to customers regardless of variations of workflow or business levels.
- Create a dynamic workplace that affects positive employee relationships by developing employee engagement and recognition programs and ensuring all employees are treated fairly, with respect, and have the tools necessary to perform their jobs.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development to salaried managers this includes interviewing and training, assign and direct work, performance evaluations, and recognition and disciplinary action.
- Develop procedures to improve inventory integrity and manage inventory throughput over $30 million and serving 100,000+ customers.
- Implement policies, procedures, and training to ensure compliance with Company, OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations with emphasis on hazardous materials and power industrial equipment to reduce work-related injury/illnesses, property damage and workers compensation cost.
- Demonstrate root cause thinking and lead or advocate for continuous improvement projects within the building and across the DC Network
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations or equivalent experience
- 5+ years progressively responsible management experience in a high volume, multi-shift operation dealing with large employee populations.
- Experience leading exempt-level leaders in a hands-on environment
