What you'll be doing...
Our success depends on the quality of our network. As a Senior Inbuilding DAS Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) within buildings and structures. This role also involves the assessment of wireless coverage requirements, developing plans for improving wireless signal strength, capacity, and reliability, and leading the implementation of DAS solutions. The Senior Systems Performance Engineer will work closely with clients, vendors, and other members of the project team to ensure successful project outcomes. This Senior Engineer will also be responsible troubleshooting system problems that may occur, customer issue reports, and investigations to find resolutions. Ultimately this engineer will help us deliver on our promise to customers.
- Leading the design and implementation of complex in-building DAS solutions.
- Conducting site surveys to determine wireless coverage requirements and identify potential challenges or limitations.
- Developing detailed design plans and specifications for in-building DAS solutions.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for DAS implementation.
- Managing vendors and other members of the project team to ensure successful implementation of the DAS solution.
- Configuring, commission, and test DAS equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IB systems.
- Analyzing our network's capacity and coverage, and looking for ways to make improvements.
- Monitoring performance KPIs for stadiums, venues, hospitals, etc.

What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in DAS design and implementation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work some nights.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
- Knowledge of 4G and 5G wireless network systems, including RF propagation, antennas, and signal processing.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A degree.
- Experience in Troubleshooting and vendor management.
- Three or more years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in DAS design and implementation.
- Experience in In-building RF systems and products, including JMA Teko, CommScope TE Fusion, Corning Mobile Access, Spider Cloud, etc.
- Experience in Femto Cells deployment and configuration.
- Knowledge of intermodulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
- Knowledge of antenna characteristics or antenna system design and selection for both 4G and 5G.
- Experience in working collaboratively with clients, vendors, and other team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, and an acute attention to detail.
