Join the Walmart Health & Wellness Compliance team to support the growth and expansion of Pharmacy services at the world's largest retailer! Senior Manager II - Pharmacy Practice Compliance is a critical thought-leadership role that will be at the forefront of supporting Walmart Pharmacies and Pharmacy leadership. Reporting to the Senior Director - Pharmacy Practice Compliance, you will collaborate with other members of the Compliance team, Clinical Services Team, and Walmart Health & Wellness associates to support our pharmacies by helping to lead an effective compliance program, driving regulatory compliance, identifying potential compliance risks associated with business strategies, and establishing effective controls and compliance oversight related to those risks.
What you'll do:
- Improving upon the compliance program foundation - participating in the execution of the Pharmacy compliance program, ensuring that all elements of an effective compliance program are in place and integrated into existing structures and processes where appropriate.
- Establishing a roadmap for future enhancement - identifying short- and long-term compliance program initiatives, demonstrating the ability to prioritize immediate needs and planning for ongoing enhancement and evolution of the program over time.
- Building effective relationships - establishing relationships with key stakeholders and effectively integrating with the Walmart Health & Wellness business to ensure compliance is an integral function of the operation of the pharmacy.
- Supporting enterprise and team success - facilitating timely identification of compliance risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to enable successful implementation of business initiatives.
- Operating with excellence - identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) that measure and monitor team performance and potential risk areas. Set an example in managing to KPIs/KRIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
What you'll bring:
- Subject matter expert in pharmacy compliance, with prior experience working for retail pharmacies.
- Significant experience and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, including federal and state healthcare regulations, State Board of Pharmacy Practice Acts, pharmacy clinical services, etc.
- Process-oriented and look for opportunities to streamline processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
- Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.
