Job Description

Please note: this role will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in office presence.

Freshworks is seeking an experienced, self-directed Partner Marketing leader to lead the marketing strategy and execution with our top tier ISV Partner (AWS). This is a highly visible role within the company that will directly contribute to the success of the Growth Marketing Team and Freshworks as a company.  

This role requires a proven leader to work closely with AWS to develop and execute global, strategic plans which include building awareness, generating demand and driving pipeline & revenue.

The ideal candidate will have experience working at or with partners including ISVs, SIs, or Resellers with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact for partners through joint demand generation activities. Strong ability to define customer outreach tactics aligned to the partner’s sales and marketing goals is critical along with the data-driven performance management and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global demand generation campaigns with the AWS to generate a healthy GTM-driven sales funnel including leads, opportunities, pipeline, and wins.
  • Secure partner commitment to drive execution of joint GTM plans in support of Freshworks revenue goals. 
  • Develop and iterate compelling joint solution messaging, positioning, and collateral to drive new business.
  • Define success metrics for joint GTM campaigns and track results across all stages of the sales funnel including leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Champion a “test and learn” approach to increase yield, return on marketing investment (ROMI), and partner success/engagement.
  • Be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for our partners and colleagues.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to integrate Partner Marketing motions into the regional field marketing programming and activations in a thoughtful way, collaborate with the Partner Sales Manager(s) for pipeline creation.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering, computer science, marketing, or finance.
  • 10+ years of business-to-business relevant field marketing, channel marketing or product marketing experience within the high-technology industry.
  • Experience with technical Cloud market, enterprise software purchase cycles, cloud based subscription markets, and with technical partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience developing and executing GTM/marketing strategies with ISVs, Resellers, or SI’ s for cloud services or software.
  • Deep understanding of and experience managing marketing and sales funnels, from lead to revenue.
  • A career trajectory that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex and diverse set of ISVs and align to the actionable GTM strategy

Additional Information

California Pay Range: $168,000-274,300+ comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation: You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
