Description
The Senior Manager of Social Mediaand Content will oversee and produce a broad range of digital and print content and assets (Social Media posts, blog posts, emails, videos, infographics, and event collaterals) to support the organization’s work, programs, and campaigns. The role requires a strategic and creative mind, the flexibility to work cross-functionally with many teams, and the ability to build and deliver winning content strategies to expand brand awareness and broaden/cultivate audience engagement. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Digital content 
    • Oversee Social Media channels
      • Creates, coordinates, and manages Social Media content (copy creation, visual/video assets, scheduling) across all earned Social Media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok). Includes frequent site visits and communications with restaurants and community-based organizations partners to collect on-site content/testimonies.
      • Monitor the health and growth of all Social Media platforms (examine the performance of posts for specific campaigns/activations to assess successes and learnings).
      • Manage community engagements across all platforms (reply to DM’s, forward relevant inquiries to appropriate departments, etc.)
      • Develop brand-appropriate assets for partners to promote partnerships.
    • Support digital marketing channels
      • Draft content and develop creative execution for Rethink Food emails (Mailchimp) and website/blog (Squarespace).
      • Monthly website content check/updates and creation of new pages.
      • Manage photo/video database.
      • Act as a point of contact for developing collateral and Content for external partners, including restaurants, community-based organizations, and brand partners.  
  • Physical content collaterals 
    • Creates innovative collaterals to describe and support the organization’s work in a way that is compelling and relevant to priority audiences (such as table tents, cards, merch, etc., for specific campaigns, events, and in-person activations).
  • Strategy and campaign
    • Work with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to conceptualize specific content campaigns to boost brand presence and cultivate engagement.
    • In partnership with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, identify storytelling opportunities and creative approaches to promote our work and impact across our platforms. 
  • Across the role:
    • Research and integrate industry news, trends, and compelling angles into overall content.
    • Develop and sustain productive cross-functional relationships.
    • Ensure liaison between relevant stakeholders within the organization and with external partners to gather relevant content to use across our channels.
    • Represent the organization’s mission, values, culture, and strategy.
    • Support digital asset development and needs across departments, creating external facing products for Philanthropy and Programs teams. 
    • Support the Marketing and Communications Team and other departments as needed.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other relevant field. 
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in digital and Content marketing or a similarly related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong multitasking, organization, and time/project management skills and a self-starter mentality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to create effective content (writing and production).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and trends. 
  • Proven creative/graphic design skills to create impactful digital and physical assets.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Sprout Social, Canva (or other creative platforms), Squarespace, Mailchimp, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Maintain brand accuracy & tone across platforms at all times. 
  • Positive attitude, show concern for people and community, and demonstrate self-confidence, common sense, and excellent listening skills.
  • Flexible and adaptive to effectively manage changing priorities and new opportunities.
  • Takes a solutions-based, collaborative approach to drive change in work and navigate challenges.
  • Quick learner who demonstrates an eagerness to continually strengthen their understanding of Rethink’s work.

Benefits
COMPENSATION
The annual salary range for this position is $65k - $85k, depending on experience and education. We also offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, two weeks per year for an organization-wide office closure to recharge, a retirement plan, and a progressive parental leave plan.
