Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager of Market Research to support the North American Healthcare division. The Sr. Market Research Manager will focus on all areas of healthcare operations to include Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services (EVS), and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) & Facilities Management (FM).
This is a virtual position reporting to the Senior Director of Business Insights. Salary range is negotiable depending on experience with a bonus incentive plan and a rich benefits package that kicks in day 1!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both primary and secondary research to understand and communicate healthcare market trends, demand for products and services, client preferences and needs, customer purchasing habits, and elements of satisfaction and competitive landscape. These insights help inform our commercial teams.
- Collect and catalog results from primary market research conducted throughout the organization. Liaison with cross-functional, regionally focused Sodexo teams, including NorAm Insights and NorAm Customers for Life teams. Synthesize topical information as needed for presentation content.
- Monitor and share competitive market intelligence and feedback loops to stay current on trends and opportunities. Manage our competitive intelligence platform, Crayon. Maintain metrics on Sodexo's market share related to the competition.
- Assist with win-loss insights, including dashboard management and analysis.
- Identify target markets by monitoring and analyzing market trends and customer data. Support healthcare marketing and sales strategy through target list creation and contact management support.
- Contribute to analysis of hospital patient satisfaction metrics derived from Sodexo's Experiencia tool and other sources.
- Assist the Sr Director of Business Insights with ongoing projects.

- Have a deep understanding of the healthcare contract services to best interpret market trends and growth opportunities.
- Apply business-oriented perspective to all conclusions and deliverables, drawing out the 'so what, now what' for stakeholders.
- Have proven ability to leverage marketing research results into actionable marketing and business initiatives.
- Use primary and secondary marketing research techniques (e.g., intelligence databases, news alerts, industry publication, press, Internet, in-house reports, competitors' websites).
- Possess effective communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation).
- Understand qualitative and quantitative data in a healthcare setting, including being comfortable with clinical and operational data, with the ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate outcomes.
- Have a clear understanding/experience of governmental, regulatory, and social forces in healthcare management, particularly as it pertains to the North America markets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of
- 7+ years' experience in business strategy and/or business intelligence (competitor and/or market research)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Knowledge of Power BI is highly preferred

Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Market Research supports Sodexo's profitable growth strategy and achievement of Ambition 2025 by supporting segment client centric efforts to drive client loyalty and advocacy for Sodexo.-The Senior Manager, Market Research supports the client loyalty journey with segment operators to promote dialogue with individual clients to strengthen the Web of Influence and to further the partnership at each site to proactively manage the client life cycle, drive long lasting and mutually beneficial business relationships. The Journey focuses on guiding segment leadership on the tools and education components that support "listening, understanding and delivering", key components of Sodexo's client-centric approach. -The Senior Manager, Market Research works closely with Sodexo's client loyalty B2B survey partner to administer the annual survey for all segments, provide early warning indicators and action plan/closed-loop process for segment leadership at the site/organization level, identify potential growth opportunity and segment-level trends. The role provides ongoing and objective support of client loyalty research initiatives that are aligned with the company's client retention and growth strategy.
