Job Description

Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.

BUSINESS BANKING LENDING PROFITABILITY

  • Helps drive lending profitability and performance across Business Banking segment lending products with a particular focus on conventional loan products, managing short- and long-term outcomes of Business Banking portfolio including connection to product roadmap, OKRs, and strategic investments.
  • Influences pricing decisions, product offerings, and end-to-end product management
  • BUSINESS BANKING LENDING STRATEGY, VISION, AND PLANNING
  • Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to help create focused Business BankingClient Segment lending vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions).
  • Aligns the Business Banking client strategy within the overall business segment lending strategic vision by working with cross-functional stakeholders to help shape the Business Banking Client lending product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.

BUSINESS BANKING LENDING DEVELOPMENT

  • Drives Business Banking client sector lending developments by working with cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market and maximize return on spend for the Business Banking sector lending product roadmap (e.g., marketing, promotions/customer offers, etc).
  • Coordinates resources across the expanding Business Banking Client sector products and reimagining existing products.

CHANNEL ALIGNMENT AND MANAGEMENT

  • Manages across channels to help define and deliver Business Banking Client sector performance goals.
  • Gathers competitive, customer, market, and internal business priorities to continually optimize Business Banking client sector strategy as a leading driver of overall business lending growth.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE RESEARCH, INSIGHT AND EXECUTION

  • Identifies initial and ongoing Business Banking sector lending strategy by communicating and incorporating customer/user needs, competitive landscape, business objectives, the bank's strategic advantage and economic environment to enhance new or existing Business Banking sector lending products.
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of all Business Banking sector lending products and policies through internal/external research (e.g., creation of personas, story maps, pricing chartering/mapping experience).

GO TO MARKET AND SALES ALL CHANNELS

  • Engages with enabling functions (e.g., sales, marketing, training, operations, go to market, treasury, etc.) to position, promote and maintain Business Banking sector lending strategy needed to achieve overall business segment lending goals

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT AND OPTIMIZATION

  • Develops, analyses, monitors, and reports on Business Banking sector lending performance metrics from internal and external sources to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Uses Business Banking sector lending performance metrics to drive towards progress on identified strategies and initiatives.
  • Influences and drives alignment across functions, channels, and lines of business to set Business Banking sector lending strategy, manage performance, and optimize execution.

MARKETING AND ANALYTICS

  • In collaboration with marketing, helps define and influence multi-channel business Banking sector lending marketing strategy, budget, and key performance indicators to drive overall business segment lending growth.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five to seven years of relevant experience
  • Experience with suite of Business Lending Products
  • Advanced product management or similar experience
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need. Job postings in areas with a high volume of applicants, such as customer service, contact center, and Financial Crimes investigations, remain open for approximately 5 days of the posting listed date.
