The Digital Finance organization creates, configures, and runs digital products, platforms, and solutions that support Pfizer's core finance business functions such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, Internal, and External Reporting.
This Senior Manager role supports the Financial Planning processes in areas of for Commercial Finance, Operations, Planning & Analysis (OP&A) and Enabling Function(EF) organizations. This includes coordinating the technical resources and processes required for the quarterly forecasting, annual operating plan and phased budget submissions.
In this role, they will also be responsible for leading new developments and upgrade projects and will be required to manage cross functional teams comprising of internal and external resources. Additional responsibilities include gathering requirements, documenting functional design, coordination of testing activities, project management, financial tracking and presentation of status reports to Digital and Finance leaders.

Must be a high potential candidate with management skills that will position them to advance within the organization. Is a hands-on project manager and team lead who is technically proficient, able to develop and support solutions to meet business needs on multiple projects on tight timelines. Identifies, cultivates, and maintains long-term, productive relationships with business process owners.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines technology solutions and services that support Financial Planning & reporting requirements at a global, regional and market level
- Translates finance requirements into high value solutions, leveraging existing systems and solutions where possible and ensuring solutions are reusable and configurable
- Utilizes project management skills in developing and managing multiple finance projects, overseeing project managers, and ensuring quality control across the program/portfolio of projects
- Builds integrated finance solutions on a consistent foundation architecture and manages interdependencies with other Digital solutions to create a world-class end-user experience
- Tracks and proactively communicates project status to finance and technical leaders
- Ensures that all customer expectations have been met through delivery of projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field
- 7 years of demonstrated experience working in client facing, project management, development and/or support teams
- Leads operational teams within and across work teams and departments
- Takes responsibility for the team milestones and deliverables.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning processes
- Strong experience interfacing with roles at different levels, business sponsors and stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts in business terms
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions and engage in active conversations with colleagues and management regarding possible improvements and changes to the status quo
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of Oracle EPM applications
- Experience of visualization software, eg MicroStrategy, Tableau or Spotfire, and application to financial reporting use cases
- Experience of managing complex global projects
- Certified Public Accountant

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
