Play a critical role building &/or strengthening capabilities and partnering across functions, such as merch planning, pricing, and replenishment, to bring a financial lens to all key Inventory Decision; helping us catch opportunities upstream as we proactively manage inventory E2E. Efficient management of inventory is a key enabler of our model, it helps optimize sales and product availability while mitigating financial liabilities. It allows us to protect our cash position and unlock capital to invest in growth. We're looking for someone who can work in whitespace, is comfortable working with detail data and at the same time can find common threads and articulate actionable insights to cross-functional leaders. You'll make an impact by:
Being a Trusted Advisor: Develop strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Serve as the go-to for analytics - working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement growth initiatives.
Developing Actionable Insights - Data -> Insight -> Foresight - Sourcing and compiling relevant data, applying a structured approach to solving business problems, identifying opportunities, assessing upside potential, and influencing actions
Enabling Strategic Initiatives - Thought leadership & support for cross-functional initiatives - facilitating collaboration/alignment to accelerate growth
Forecasting, Planning & Analytics - Support the short and long term strategic and financial forecasting & planning process to maximize growth and profitability.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning, Business Management, or a related area plus a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
- 1 year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
- Technical hands on experience with Power BI, SQL, Data and Data Analysis
- MBA preferred
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
- Comfort with ambiguity
Minimum Qualifications...
