Purpose:
- Lead Excess Sales team to build a sustainable business while respecting market disruption throughout the retail landscape. Work as a strategic lever throughout the business that partners with Sales, DTC, Supply Chain and Omni Inventory leads to deliver the necessary results.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and drive US Excess Sales business (including Clearance), clearly allocating product between applicable sales channels with a focus on profitability & mitigating market disruption.
- Own the clearance process and manage Clearance portfolio in a strategic way that improves margin and minimizes market disruption.
- Operationally drive the clearance business through other US Wholesale accounts by building catalogs and managing the inventory.
- Create and execute excess product access among wholesale accounts, DTC, and directly managed accounts to showcase brand in best environment, partner with key accounts and maximize excess inventory turn, sales & margin.
- Create a holistic approach on all business decisions for the commercialization of excess inventory while working from beginning to end of the product lifecycle.
- Partner with Finance, Planning & SCM to utilize clearance accounts as additional selling levers, ensuring transparency and alignment to drive sales and/or clear warehouse capacity.
- Direct team to drive process of coordination between US Wholesale and DTC teams and directly managed account buyers to communicate excess product availability, provide access to product lists, ensure orders are processed and fulfilled.
- Incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Excess Sales process, balancing account prioritization, inventory turns, and margin goals.
- Partner with Excess Management & Planning to build strategic plans on how to best maximize profits on inventory through an Omni-channel lens.
- Manage employees and build an environment that drives accountability and fosters growth.

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
- Four-year degree preferably in business or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree
- Minimum 8 years sales experience
