Title: Senior Manager, Culinary Development (mult.)
Location: McCormick & Company, Inc., 24 Schilling Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031
Duties: Responsible for shaping culinary strategy for supporting the US Consumer business across the entire portfolio; Serves as the thought leader of the McCormick Kitchens culinary team to influence and deliver business-building strategies, new products, and transformational content. This role leverages the connection between culinary expertise and knowledge of consumer marketing principles and practices. The role relies heavily on both culinary and marketing skills, by utilizing a robust culinary background with extensive hands-on experience in culinary product development, recipe development and culinary content development alongside brand management, consumer insights, content, and social media marketing. Responsible for proactively supporting McCormick Kitchens in the evaluation, and execution of Innovation, Marketing & Sales plans by incorporating the principles and best practices of content development, recipe development and marketing that drive results. Responsible for managing the personnel and activities of the McCormick Kitchens needed to drive innovation and deliver product, recipe, and content development in support of the McCormick family of brands, Club and Ecomm.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Science, Economics, or Marketing and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in: (1) Hands-on culinary recipe development in a CPG test kitchen and working with brand teams and R&D on new product development;
(2) Working in brand management and consumer insights;
(3) Managing and creating content including photo and video shoots for campaigns, social media, packaging, and website use;
(4) Brand management, sales, and sales planning teams on execution of new product sell-in process to customers; and
(5) Managing and developing a team of direct reports and working seamlessly cross-functionally and with tight deadlines.
