The opportunity: TheSenior Manager, Claims Investigation Services (CIS) is responsible for the overall management and leadership of a team consisting of claims investigative services and settlement specialists. This role is key to leading the continuing evolution of technology driven claim investigations and directing the evaluation and negotiation of appropriate claim settlements.

How you will contribute:

• Manage and develop a team of claims investigators and resolution specialists.
• Design and implement strategies to streamline claims resolution processes.
• Leverage data and technology to enhance resolution accuracy and efficiency.
• Coach and mentor direct reports to maximize performance and growth.
• Oversee complex claims resolution and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the department to internal and external partners and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Engage the team in process improvements and change management.

What you will bring with you:

• Ability to work with a diverse range of people
• 5+ years experience leading Disability Claims Teams
• Expertise in disability/life insurance claims resolution processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
• Experience developing high-performing teams through coaching and feedback.
• Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
• Action-oriented leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work with multiple departments to drive results.
• Deep understanding of investigative tools and their potential impact to risk management.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:

• Southern region: $75,800-$113,700 annually
• Central region: $79,900-$119,900 annually
• Northern region: $85,400-$128,100 annually

If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $72,300-$108,500 annually.

If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $85,400-$128,100 annually.

If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $79,900-$119,900 annually.
