Job Summary
The Learning Technology Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the learning management system (Saba Cloud/LMS), performance/goal technology, creating and maintaining eLearning, Computer-Based Training (CBT) and blended courses, curating tools and software for learning and building the catalog of available learning resources.
Summary of essential job functions
Learning Technology/LMS Administration
- Supports release/update roadmap of the Learning Management System.
- Work as a liaison with information technology department and HRIS administrator to ensure all Learning Technology is fully integrated with people systems across the enterprise.
- Monitor LMS email, support end user experience.
- Manage all LMS administration duties.
- Investigates and solve problems related to Learning Technology.
Learning Design/Asset Management
- Assist team with production of instructional materials, including video, graphics, animations, and interactive media elements.
- Collaborate with appropriate teams to design and administer quality assurance assessment of courses and services offered.
- Facilitate the testing of learning assets to ensure effective deployment in the LMS, including the creation and maintenance/updating of all course/classes/sessions with the internal content owners across the business.
- Facilitates, schedules, supports and act as a producer for instructor led learning events.
Analytics
- Build and cascade LMS data and analytic tools to create reports that inform progress and return on investment associated with learning programs.
- Build and administer reporting tools that support compliance and audit requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in the areas of Human Resources, business, communications, adult learning and instructional design
- 2 or more years of experience in Learning Technology management and administration.
- Knowledge of Vyond, Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems (Saba Cloud preferred) , learning analytics.
- Ability to master various technology, web, and data management systems.
- Understanding of design and development principles, best practices, learning theories, and how they vary depending on delivery method.
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt and grow in fast paced teams.
