Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior KYC Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a leading financial institution committed to excellence, we are looking for a dynamic professional who can contribute to our success and help drive our financial operations forward. This position reports to the VP of KYC Compliance and will office from our north Dallas headquarters.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of the UTB’s Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance program including CIP, CDD, EDD, and Customer Risk Assessment policies, processes, and procedures.
- Execute Enhanced Due Diligence reviews and provide evidence-based recommendations to support decision making and action.
- Contribute to the enhancement of UTB’s compliance program including identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement of processes, controls, and technology.
- Contribute to the enhancement of compliance-related information and analytical tools for KYC including transitioning from manual to automated processes and controls where possible. This also includes contributing to the compliance technology strategy and providing recommendations on configuration and enhancement of existing applications.
- Identify, analyze, and escalate compliance risks, risk events, and policy or procedure violations; provide recommendations for remediation including actions to address root causes; and monitor and report on execution and effectiveness of remediation plans.
- Contribute to the design and execution of compliance training as needed.
- Contribute to the design and execution compliance risk assessments and reviews as needed.
- Support Compliance Committees (including the Global Customer Oversight Committee) by creating charts and tables and by drafting memos for presentations.
- Role model UTB’s values as well as the mindset and behaviors of a sound risk and compliance culture.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience required as an AML Compliance Analyst (preferably KYC).
- CAMS certification desired
