POSITION OPPORTUNITY
The Senior IT Analyst is responsible to and resolving Astro Pak employee technical issues in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. This position also will provide interpretation to systems matters that are moderately complex in nature. The Senior IT Analyst is also responsible for documenting all issues, troubleshooting steps, resolution, and time spent resolving the case into the help ticket system. Seeing cases through to resolution and escalating them to the next level of support is also a critical component of this position.

Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and manage technical solutions for the management for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture.
- Provide end-user support on computer hardware and software support, printer and copier maintenance and toner replacements, performs hardware and software implementations and installations.
- Interact with employees in a professional manner, treating all personal and company information, either seen or heard, as confidential, both inside and outside of the company
- Document all support requests, changes, and resolutions, as well as follow up on outstanding issues.
- Work with the other members of our staff on projects to ensure accurate delivery and availability of information and deliverables.
- Learn support and maintain productivity applications such as Microsoft GP, Microsoft CRM and others.
- Analyze and implement projects in compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent amount of related multi‑craft skills acquired through extensive on‑the‑job training or apprenticeship programs in‑depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on‑the‑job training.
Related Experience: Experience in helpdesk role, with demonstrated abilities to provide excellent customer service at all levels of an organization.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience includes thorough understanding of a desktop operating system environment and integration points with Microsoft Office and other applications
- Strong understanding of O365 and Azure environments.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization and peers to a goal or multiple goals.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (training/presentations/report writing).
- Ability to work independently or in a group with minimal direction (need to work through all the details of broad minded projects, and know how and where to find the needed information to complete those projects).
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Passion for and willingness to learn new technologies
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
- Legal capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of the U.S. Export Control Laws.
Environment
- Must be able to perform above listed duties/responsibilities in the field and field offices.
- Must be able to travel occasionally to other locations.
- Will be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions periodically.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
