Senior Inspector

NOVA is seeking aSenior CWI/NDT Inspectorout of the Greenville, SCarea with some travel throughout SC. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.)..
Responsibilities:

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
• Input results and observations into daily reports

Requirements:

• 3+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience is required
• Current CWI certification required
• AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 experience a plus
• NDT experience in UT Shearweave, MT required
• ICC certifications a plus: Welding, Masonry, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Steel
• Experience with bridge inspections a plus
• Proof of clean driving record
