SalaryAssist funeral directors with various duties on Funeral Services and visitations. This position is an essential part of the service that the mortuary provides to the families that we serve and their guests.
Help greet and usher guest to proper location or to their seats.
Drive company vehicles to include vans, sedans, funeral coach and limousines
Help carry and set up equipment necessary for funeral , memorial, graveside services as well as Rosary services and visitations
Assist in the staging of floral arrangements at the funeral home chapel, churches and at the cemetery
Help park cars and direct traffic on parking lot and at cemetery
May be required to help carry a casket
Make sure that guest have signed the register book if applicable and pass out memorial folders, prayer cards and/or programs
Monitor funeral home restrooms for cleanliness and report any issues
Help maintain public areas of the funeral home in a clean and orderly manner
