Position Overview:
Partner with VP of HR to assess and understand the company strategy to support employee needs across HR functions including general HR practices, HRIS, Employee Development and Training, Onboarding, Talent Management, Employee Relations, and other HR related responsibilities. This position is also responsible for promoting the company mission and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with employees and management to communicate and ensure consistent implementation of company-wide HR systems, programs, policies, procedures, guidelines, laws, standards, and other government regulations to support strategic initiatives across the organization. Escalate problems early that may impact business results or pose a liability to the employees or the organization.
- Develop and analyze report trends and metrics to create solutions, programs and policies as needed for the organization; recommend business process improvements and compliance measures that enable greater efficiencies utilizing existing HR technologies.
- Identify and develop/ administer Talent/Learning Management Program.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Lead and provide support/input to HR project initiatives as assigned.
- Respond to all subpoena requests.
- Proficiency in managing organizational change initiatives and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of employment law, both state and federal (including but not limited to FMLA, ADAAA, EEO).
- Knowledge and experience in ensuring organizational compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, ability to apply depth of knowledge and experience in solving complex challenges/making recommendations where no precedent may exist.
- Professional and approachable at all levels.
- Self-motivated & results oriented.
- Strong communication skills (written/verbal/presentation).
- Ability to assess and anticipate the HR needs of employees/management.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel on an ongoing basis.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience, inclusive of HRIS and analytics experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced skill level using MS Office.
- Experience in employee training, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Experience in implementing or managing HR software and systems, ensuring efficient HR operations and data management.
This position pays $80k and up depending on experience.
