We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of HR Operations with experience in government contracting to oversee Human Capital operations and functions for our company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of HR in a government contracting environment. As the Director of HR Operations, you will be responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of HR activities that support our company's goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also provide guidance and support to our HR team, managers, and employees on all HR-related matters.

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's goals and objectives.

Oversee HR functions including onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.

Ensure compliance with all government contracting requirements, including affirmative action, equal opportunity, and security clearance processes.

Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees.

Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Monitor HR metrics and use data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive HR initiatives.

Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI)

Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data and provide insights to drive HR decisions.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with company goals.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
