JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior HR Business Partner (SR HRBP) is an experienced, strategic, and trusted advisor to our business leaders, who provides seasoned guidance, helps solve business issues with people solutions, and partners strategically to build talent excellence. We expect you to understand the DRB and Vontier business and our organization, to be an employee experience champion and change agent, and to provide relevant data and insights to influence business decisions.
Essential Duties

- Leads complex projects or process implementations with limited supervision
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units
- Consults with senior business leaders, influencing and providing strategic HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyze teams and partner with business leaders to build long-term people strategies
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the larger HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Provides thought leadership and input on business unit restructures, strategic workforce planning and succession planning
- Leads change management efforts across business units
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to our leaders (eg, coaching, counseling, career development, calibration)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Partners with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to develop compensation recommendations and offer terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs, and partners with the Talent team to find solutions
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 7 years of experience in HR roles including consulting senior business leaders and 3+ years of strategic HR experience
- Must have experience facilitating and/or helping to develop people strategies to support business needs
- Must have demonstrated experience leading teams through significant change
- Must have working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including change management, organization development, organizational and talent assessments, leadership consultation & coaching, employee engagement, talent and performance development including calibration, compensation practices, inclusion diversity & equity, employee relations, and federal and state employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, strategic HR experience and commensurate experience also considered
- Executive coaching training and certification preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment

- Ability to lead large HR projects including change management and implementation of projects
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and related software
