About The Role
The Senior Graphic Designer will serve as a champion for the Howard Hughes corporate brand. Reporting to the SVP, Digital & Brand Creative, this role will work across a range of corporate branding and marketing initiatives, including our sustainability efforts, leasing, and strategic development.
What You Will Do
Concept and Ideation: Lead design concepts that align with brand identity, project, and business goals. Contribute to the evolution and refinement of the brand's visual identity.
Project Leadership: Lead the design process for key projects, from initial ideation to final execution.
Brand Identity Maintenance: Uphold and enforce brand guidelines across all design projects, maintaining a consistent visual identity and ensuring our brand's integrity. Be a steward for the Howard Hughes brand from a design perspective across our regions.
Design Execution: Create visually compelling designs for a variety of materials, such as marketing collateral, presentations, social media graphics, merchandise, and website elements. Utilize industry-standard software tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, to produce high-quality designs. Collaborate with Video Production team on creation of on-screen graphics and animations.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and implement cutting-edge design techniques.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketers and other team members to integrate design with content, messaging, and marketing strategies. Present design concepts and ideas effectively to internal stakeholders and clients.
Photography and Image editing: Work with photographers to capture high quality and on-brand imagery.Edit and re-touch imagery to ensure a consistent look and feel for the brand.
Quality Assurance: Review and refine designs, ensuring accuracy, visual consistency, and alignment with project goals before final delivery.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
Professional Development: Continuously improve your design skills and industry knowledge, sharing insights with the team and contributing to a culture of learning and growth.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, with a proven portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.) Experience with motion or other design tools a bonus.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying updated with design trends.
HHH follows a hybrid schedule and physical presence is required onsite.
