We are hiring a SeniorFull Stack Engineer with Angular and .NET experience to build, monitor, and improve our drone software platform for first responders. We are growing rapidly as more firefighters and first responders use DroneSense to save lives; we need your help to scale and grow.
What would I be doing?
Work closely with the rest of our engineering team and product management to develop the Angular 13 user interface for one or more of our products and develop .NET services to receive, store, and provide real-time and historical drone data and video for other parts of the platform.
- Creating responsive and reusable application components in Angular
- Writing middleware to communicate with a .NET API and a SignalR service
- Server aspects of SignalR and real-time video communication with Angular and Mobile clients
- Parts of the .NET Core services responding to RESTful API requests from Angular and Mobile clients
- Data architecture, update, and retrieval using MySQL
- Server-side processing of drone flight data
- Reviewing and optimizing teammates' code
About You:
- 5 - 8+ years development experience
- 4+ years C# and .NET experience
- 4+ years relational database experience
- 3+ years using frontend Javascript/Typescript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise with RXJS, HTML5 and SCSS
- Strong understanding of web development best practices
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of service scalability, performance, and security
- Use of good design and unit testing principles
- Communicator who is flexible with the development process flow
- Critical thinker who can run autonomously
- Enjoy being both a student and a teacher
- You have a team mentality and are not afraid to take risks
- MySQL experience preferred
- SignalR experience preferred
- Reactive programming experience preferred
