Senior Fragrance and Beauty Advisor, Saks NYC

Influential & creative Educator with a passion for product and artistry combined with an ability to deliver an exceptional client experience. You are the house authority on the brand, the product and the experience. The team will leverage your brand expertise and keen industry awareness to deliver a personalized approach to each client. Should possess a teaching as well as a learning mindset for continual growth.

What Impact You Can Create at CHANEL:

People & Business Development

  • Lead educator to F&B Advisors on product knowledge, artistry skills, Inside Beauty content, clienteling, etc.
  • Assists management with training on all new launches and/or service platforms.
  • Responsible for providing the ultimate client experience both in store and through client outreach.
  • Leads client service initiatives, including events and animation, and works with team to understand and execute client follow-up, top selling behaviors, etc.
  • Establishes relationships with Education Executive and National Makeup Artists to support team’s ongoing learning following all in-store events and development days.
  • Actively contributing team member; communicates professionally and cultivates a team environment of sharing and collaboration.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals through individual and team sales.

Client Experience

  • Assists with creating a culture of service; provides a unique and memorable in-store and after sales experience to every client, every day, and at every point of sale by being the Host of your boutique.
  • Sets the standard for the team through a passion and eagerness to assist clients and ensures a welcoming environment on the floor.
  • Provides support to management team during event coordination and execution.
  • Creates client relationships, captures names and information, and follows up on products and client experience.
  • Fosters a culture of building relationships and personalized client experiences.
  • Leads and trains team on retailer’s clienteling tools to build new client retention and loyalty; uses metric reporting as a resource to further develop the team.
  • Co-ownership of all brand image, hygiene standards, and visual merchandising requirements.
  • Attends seasonal seminars hosted by Education team.

Positions Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in the beauty industry.
  • Artistry skills required; product knowledge preferred.
  • Passion for educating and training others.
  • Client centric.

  • Curious and continuous learner.
  • Must have flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.

Additional Information:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $24.59 through $35 per hour. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.

Compensation:

  • Base salary, bonus potential and other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position
