We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team!
*This position is fully remote*
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage various balance sheet account reconciliations and keep the records current on a monthly basis.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly closing, verify various transactions, and resolve discrepancies, in accordance with close calendar timelines.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with external audit inquiries.
- Work on ad-hoc projects and analysis, as needed.
Skills Needed:
- BS in Accounting.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ successful prior general accounting experience required.
- Understanding of US GAAP.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
- Strong problem-solving skills and paying attention to details.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
- Prior experience with Microsoft NAV is preferred.
- CPA is preferred.
