Food Protection Operations
Full Time Senior Food Protection Regulatory Analyst, La Crosse, WI: This position is responsible for protecting public health and ensuring brand protection for Kwik Trip, Inc. In this role the person will be responsible for keeping food safe throughout the food supply chain which includes all food and food packaging vendors, the storage and shipment of food, further processing of food, and delivering of food to Kwik Trip, Inc.’s guests at our retail stores. This role will provide regulatory guidance and direction in implementing policies and programs that support and enhances the safety and quality of Kwik Trip, Inc.’s food supply chain and the delivery of safe, high-quality food to all our guests while maintaining regulatory compliance with State, Local and Federal government agencies. The individual will serve as a regulatory and compliance representative for Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Food Protection Operations Department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in the natural sciences or public health sciences
- Candidate must have a least 7 years of experience in the areas of Public Health, Food Protection and Regulations related to consumer goods(vendors and suppliers)/production plant environment/distribution/retail
- Possess a solid understanding of Federal (USDA, FDA, CDC) laws and guidelines, State and Local policies and regulations
- Ability to interpret regulatory language and knowledge of enforcement practices
- Conduct regulatory inspection and progressive compliance actions (microbiology, facility sanitation, and communicable disease control)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Communication skills (oral and written)
- Valid drivers license with a good driver record
- The ability to travel as needed
- Working knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office products
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, daytime hours; however, it may include occasional evenings and weekends, as necessary. Travel will be a part of the work schedule.
