Our Regulatory Accounting Department is seeking an experienced professional who is committed to obtaining a deep knowledge of the regulatory accounting rules. This is a very important role in our accounting and finance department that will report to the Regulatory Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately compile and review of Customer/PAB Reserve 15c3-3 and Net Capital 15c3-1, FOCUS reports and other regulatory filings
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly reports and schedules to support regulatory and accounting processes
- Effectively work with internal and external financial and regulatory auditors
- Interact and work with various departments within the firm to reconcile differences and calculate pieces critical to the financial statements and regulatory filings
- Analyze reconciliation results between GL and transactional data, identify issues, and provide resolution
- Perform other duties and tasks as required and assigned
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business/Econ with emphasis in accounting/finance
- 5+ years of corporate or public accounting (preferably Big 4) experience highly preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience and understanding of 15c3-1 and 15c3-3
- FINRA Series 27 license preferred
- Regulatory reporting experience from broker dealer preferred
- Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Ability to analyze processes and improve efficiency of procedures
- Strong analytical and accounting skills and knowledge
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and Word; agile at learning new software applications

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000-$120,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance.
