Senior Financial Analyst

We’re growing again and need a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team!

Overview

We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Corporate Finance Team.  As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will own the forecast and operating plan while delivering complex modeling and analysis to the Leadership Team.  This position reports to the CFO and will have daily interaction with Department Leaders to inform key strategic and operating decisions.

Our office is located in the Denver Tech Center (DTC) in Greenwood Village, CO.  We are looking for local candidates only. 

Responsibilities

• Support the CFO and Department Leaders in preparation of annual operating plan as well as monthly and quarterly forecasting.
• Preparation of Management and Board reporting including budget vs. actuals.
• Establishment and maintenance of Key Operating Metrics as the Business continues to scale.
• Build driver-based models through identification of key inputs to project financial results.  Articulate key drivers to Department Leaders.
• Work inter-departmentally to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to articulate the risk and opportunities of the business.
• Provide leadership with insights to manage headcount, hiring, and expenses.
• Streamline systems and processes to drive efficiencies and automation within the financial reporting lifecycle.
• Ad-hoc analyses as needed to support strategic business initiatives.  Act as insightful Business Partner to guide decision making.

Skills and Experience

Required  

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA is a plus.
• 6+ years of professional experience, with, ideally, 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and complex financial modeling.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in budgeting and forecasting in SaaS business models.
• Proficiency with accounting and corporate finance including subscription billing, revenue recognition, and free cash flow.
• Passionate about efficiency and scale with a focus on process and financial system improvements.  
• Self-starter capable of working in fast-paced environments.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
