Pursuit is hiring a strong and capable Financial Analyst to serve as a key Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team member. This role will have a dual mandate: 1) oversee all aspects of Financial Planning for Pursuit’s Support Services SG&A teams (Marketing, Sales, Revenue Maximization, Information Technology, People & Culture and Finance/Accounting); and 2) support the FP&A Manager by becoming a super user of Solver, the company’s primary Financial Planning and reporting software. This highly visible role will provide the Analyst with daily interaction with the company’s CFO, Sr. Director of FP&A, Chief Revenue Officer, and Vice Presidents of Sales, People & Culture, and Information Technology.

Support the FP&A Manager by becoming a Solver super user:
Oversee the day-to-day management of Pursuit’s financial reporting capabilities, including administering the Solver data warehouse, system security, and delivery of reports to decision-makers
Maintain and enhance the inventory of financial and statistical/operational/payroll analytics reports
Serve as Solver system subject matter expert and bring forward the full spectrum of system capabilities to the benefit of the broader organization
Lead the Pursuit global consolidation process including allocations, FX, tax, balance sheet, cash flow, and financial system uploads
Partner with the finance, accounting, and operations teams to develop process improvements that will create efficiencies and improve accuracy across the organization
Suggest process improvements that will inform leadership and ensure a forward-thinking approach to reporting and business partnership
Oversee all aspects of Financial Planning and analysis for Pursuit’s Support Services SG&A teams:
Assist Support Services teams (SG&A), working to drive detailed expense and labor management, ultimately working to create return on investment for key initiatives.
Participate in the Company’s annual budgeting process, working with each Support Services leader and the broader Finance organization to develop detailed expense and labor budgets
Provide day-to-day analytical and decision support to Pursuit’s Support Services teams
Administer the Sales incentive plan through real-time tracking of new business generated by Sales team members
Support special projects for Support Services, including structuring the work, managing the process, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions to leadership
Perform ad hoc analyses to support Pursuit & Support Services leadership decisions
IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or certification (CPA/CFA/MBA) related to finance or accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated track record of providing daily decision support to a variety of senior-level stakeholders in a matrixed and dynamic environment
- Exceptionally strong in Microsoft Excel with a strong working knowledge of advanced formulas, pivot tables and best practices in financial modeling
- Experience working with Solver (www.solverglobal.com) is strongly preferred but not required
