*Job Summary*
On behalf of the Swissport U.S. Cargo Division, the incumbent is responsible for completing, leading and managing all aspects of financial analysis/reporting including budget, forecast and strategic planning; capital/lease/technology projects, commercial proposal development, financial labor and profitability analysis; management reporting; and, developing and continuously improving data models, data flow and supporting systems for efficient planning and reporting across the region. The incumbent is expected to play a significant role in driving improved profitability through delivering and guiding insightful analysis and management reporting, and partner effectively with leaders and process owners across the Cargo Division.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Develop a detailed operational, financial, and strategic understanding of the business in order to identify, track, analyze, and forecast key operational and financial drivers of business results, including the development of reporting and performance metrics
* Assist the Director of Finance and act as "challenger" on cost control and deviations
* Assist with the completion of month end closing for billing, financial reporting, and any ad hoc month end requirements needed
* Conduct financial performance research and complex analytical projects involving complex computer modeling and forecasting to provide management with definitive financial information and advice for use in setting and realizing revenue and profit objectives
* Lead and/or work closely with business counterparts to define strategies for revenue growth and costs savings
* Assist in formulating new processes and analytical reports to improve information resources available to top management
* Assist in the preparation and completion of budgets and forecasts
* Complete financial modeling to analyze growth and new business strategies, define solutions for profitability improvement, and establish/evaluate business and financial performance
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
* Provide support to operating management for ad-hoc inquiries
* Good understanding of financial analysis models
* Assist with yearly audit requests and analysis
* Assist in providing training and support to station management for financial items such as P&L, Proformas, and budgeting
* Assist Head Office with business unit financial requests and monthly close

*Qualifications and Competencies*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering required
* Minimum 3-5 years of planning / analytical experience preferably in an FP&A capacity
* Solid financial literacy (i.e. Knowledge of GAAP principles, G/L, P&L Statements, etc.)
* Significant working knowledge of financial statements & management reporting
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required
* Strong communicator with ability to work with multiple levels of management
* Excellent analytical skills
* Attention to detail a must
* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
* Experience providing analysis to senior management required
* Requirement to travel throughout the North American region up to 10% without restriction
* Familiarity with SAP, Planful / OneStream, and Power BI highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,400.00 - $103,000.00 per year
