Senior Financial Analyst:
NIRA Inc, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FAA senior managers/directors. The Individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership. This position requires strong analytical skills, thorough understanding of financial and project management aspects, ability to collect and combine information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive picture of the project and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities include:
- Prepare a complete range of cost analysis and cost management services that include, but are not limited to, program cost and price analysis, cost planning, budget development, detailed cost estimating through the planning and execution phases, and data management to support the group manager and the program managers to make informed decisions;
- Support FAA F&E and Ops Budget Formulation efforts and review documents such as RPDs, CIP updates and CIT briefs, PLA documents, and other business and financial planning data and documentation;
- Provide inputs for various briefings and data calls.
Qualifications:
- FAA experience is a must;
- Skills in acquisition strategy or budget formulation and budget execution;
- Knowledge of cost models; detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex cost reports; high-level proficiency with spreadsheets, reports, and other cost estimating software;
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize assignments and workload, execute tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment;
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance;
- Must be living in the US three out of the last five years;
- Local in the DMV area;
- At least 9 years of relevant work experience;
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines is required.
Desired Knowledge/ Skills:
- Experience with the FAA Investment Analysis process;
- Prior experience in the preparation of Federal Government IGCEs and the lifecycle costs.
