Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Immediately hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Analystfor an international nonprofit based out of Washington, D.C. Organization is a highly regarded US 501 c3 with over $100m in contributions and a $20m operating budget. Reporting directly to VP of Finance, the analyst will assist in managing financial planning, modeling, budgeting, and month end. Offering fully remote schedule, flexible part-time hours (20 - 32), and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of FP&A or combined accounting/finance experience
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or information systems 
• Experience in NetSuite
• Independent SQL skills
• Experience in MS Access a plus
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Sound judgement and integrity

Responsibilities

• Regular review of consumption of the budget by budget area
• Support budget leads managing their budget and expenses
• Create and provide budget vs. actual reports
• Lean and utilize NetSuite accounting software to perform assigned duties
• Assist the accounting team in ensuring that expenses are assign to the correct budget area
• Assist in annual budget process, financial analysis, and reporting
• Assist in monthly and quarterly accounting closing process
• Participate in the new FP&A model project as necessary
• Assist in other Financial team’s work as assigned
