The Pivotal Role:
You will architect the financial foundation, processes and controls to optimize execution of high-stakes, rapidly growing government space programs. Establishing robust systems as the embedded finance expert is paramount as you navigate ambiguity. Proactively monitor all dimensions - funding, forecasts, Program Financial health and more.
Responsibilities:
- Construct financial policies, procedures, tools and reporting capabilities
- Generate insightful reporting packages to illuminate Program Financial performance
- Conduct meticulous tracking, variance analysis and forecasting of financials
- Model funding requirements, cost impacts, financial scenarios and recoveries
- Closely partner with program managers, contracts and leadership
- Uphold compliance across FAR, DFARS, CAS, GAAP and audit requirements
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive program finance experience for $100M+ programs
- Mastery of government contract types: CPFF, IDIQ, FFP, T&M, CPAF, CPIF
- Expertise in SAP, WBS, EVM systems and reporting
- Proven ability to implement processes for new programs and drive improvement
- Innovative thinking to navigate ambiguity and pioneer new solutions
- Exceptional communication, presentation and financial modeling capabilities
