SENIOR FEDERAL SALES EXECUTIVE POSITION

MCPGOV provides Information Technology Products & Solutions for Federal Agencies and System Integrators. Our continuing success in the federal marketplace is built on winning partnerships with both industry and end users; and provide relevant end-to-end solutions to our customers. We are preferred partner with dominant IT OEM’s (as an LOS holder) which provides us with significant competitive advantages. Also, we operate as a small woman owned business which allows us access to select opportunities. We are looking for a successful Senior Federal Sales Executive (SSE) to join our team, with a tremendous "upside" and a potential six figure income.
Responsibilities:
As SSE, your responsibility is to develop a sales plan selling the company's products or services and maintaining relationships with existing accounts within the assigned market segment. Market segments will be specific federal agencies. Some agencies of particular interest are Navy, DOD, DOE, and DOJ. The ideal candidate must have successfully received and closed several government purchase orders and consistently drive new business (hunter mentality) to meet and exceed assigned revenue quotas. As a strong team player, you must leverage all internal & external resources available to ensure success. Also, develop and execute cross-channel demand generation programs to generate new leads, qualify and nurture existing contacts, and help generate sales-ready opportunities.
MCP is based on major account selling practices developing long term relationships with various federal agencies. This long term relationship involves cultivating strategic relations and the ability to analyze the needs of customers, system integrators and OEMS to develop complex solutions. The candidate will have in-depth knowledge of multi-year federal government contracts and FARS, DFARS and government procurement.
As a MCPGOV Senior Federal Sales Executive, you will be expected to engage with prospects and present compelling solutions to win deals. There will be regional travel to meet prospects and build timely, deep relationships. Also, travel will include attending federal industry trade shows with face to face meetings. You will be expected to conduct research, reviewing, and analyzing of data from several databases (i.e. historical procurement data, open source federal procurement databases, etc.).
Preferred Qualification:
· A strong understanding of Client IT products (desktops, laptops, tablets and accessories)
· A strong understanding of Enterprise software, hardware, and services
· Capable of leveraging our channel partners to drive new revenue.
· Demonstrated successful sales record
· Exceptional communication skills
· Robust understanding of other IT products (Networking, virtual Networks and emerging technologies)
· Comfortable with use of CRM (Salesforce) and other office productivity tools
Basic Requirement:
· The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in the Federal market place, selling to the DOD and or Civilian Federal government and large government System Integrators
· Excellent work habits including rapid response to customer RFQ’s
· Must be a United States Citizen
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary will include base $75K -$100K, commensurate with sales experience, plus commissions SSE’s are expected to make a six figure income.
