Description
Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-time, School Year
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to promote students' functional independence and participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and relevant records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Virginia state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and IEP processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
