About the role:

The Sr. Export Account Coordinator will provide continuous and timely feedback to overseas dealers, customers and Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas departments about the movement and delivery of finished goods, while ensuring dealer and customer satisfaction, timely and accurate shipments of Houston and overseas sourced finished goods. They will also conduct shipment and logistics planning to meet customer requirements and to meet the company’s shipping and financial targets.

What you will do:

• Manages Logistics of Latin America Finished Goods orders that ship from Houston. Coordinates with sales group, freight forwarders, brokers, trucking companies and 3PL for shipment of finished goods to 36 countries. Calculates container load configurations to utilize maximum use of sea containers which saves money for the customers. Provides proper cargo information for the Port of Entry Customs.
• Works with Japan and Finland contacts to get Finished goods out of foreign ports to Latin American Customers. Calculates all insurance and freight for each order. Releases customer invoices to ensure all documents are in hand to prepare for Custom releases at the port of destination.
• Ensures that invoices to Export dealers conform to the legal and commercial requirements of each of the 36 countries to which MLA exports as well as ensuring that the orders are priced properly and meet the guidelines established by MLA for the application of Programs and Price Authorization Requests. Processes Export Letters of Credit and prepares all Export documents and certifications.
• Ensure that products exported by MLA are shipped in the most economical manner while ensuring that the business and financial interests of both MLA and Dealer/Customer are protected. Ensures that orders are priced in accordance with MLA guidelines. Ensures all documents and paperwork are prepared properly to avoid fines by Customs. Negotiate rates with freight forwarders.
• Involved in making decisions related to timing of shipments, shipping vessels, selection of freight forwarder based on dealer/customer requirements while at the same time, balancing cost with service levels. Makes proposals to dealers to assist in reduction of dealer importation costs. Load and configuration planning to ensure space utilization in export containers is maximized. This helps dealers to reduce their freight cost.
• DRR for Records Retention, maintains files, follows-up and provides information for credit releases to maximize shipping of units. Performs other duties as required.

• This position will be hybrid (mixture of in office and remote work)

What you need to have:

• Associate’s Degree
• 2-7 years of experience
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas’ operating system (BPCS)
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook Knowledge of Web-Linx, Dealer Pool System, Custom Broker System
• Customer Service experience
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas’ CRM system
• Multi-tasker and problem solver
• Bilingual
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of all custom documents, invoices and import and export bill of ladings
