This role is responsible for supporting Actuarial Management
What Are Your Key Responsibilities?
- Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group, and/or National Accounts Market Segments
- Maintenance and improvement of Actuarial analyses such as trend setting, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting
- Rate analysis and development
- Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant
- Forecast/variance analysis and reporting
- Product development support
- Segmentation support
What is REQUIRED?
- 2+ years related work experience to include successful, progressive professional work experience
- Related bachelor’s degree required Math/Statistics or related degree
- Minimum of 3 or more completed examinations from the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of management
What Is PREFERRED?
- Background in health field or insurance field
- SAS and/or SQL experience
- Familiarity with programming languages PC software (spreadsheets, graphics, word processors, etc.)
General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally

Annualized Salary Range:$80,800 - $131,300
Typical Annualized Hiring Range:$80,800 - $101,000
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
