Job Description
PCG is seeking a Senior Epic Program Manager/Consultant to lead and manage complex Epic program implementations for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management and consulting, with a deep understanding of Epic Systems' electronic health record (EHR) platform. The Senior Epic Program Manager/Consultant will work closely with client stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for Epic implementations, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Epic program implementations for our clients, ensuring successful delivery of project goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful integration of Epic with other systems and applications.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Epic's clinical and revenue cycle applications, workflows, and best practices.
- Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and serve as a thought leader and expert on Epic program management and consulting.
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on all aspects of Epic program implementations.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Epic Certification
- At least 7 years of experience in project management and consulting, with a focus on Epic program implementations.
- Experience leading large-scale, complex Epic program implementations, including clinical and revenue cycle applications.
- Strong understanding of Epic workflows, data structures, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
