What You’ll Do:

Mathison is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our sales team, reporting to our VP of Sales.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will help drive organizational growth by cultivating relationships with target prospects, navigating them through complex sales cycles, and converting them into happy customers. You are an adept professional, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels within our target organizations.

You have an in-depth understanding of the buyer journey and can lead a complex, multi-party sale in a highly consultative manner. You get excited about prospecting and are capable of independently leading a sales cycle from start to finish.

The person in this role will have a strong work ethic, welcome feedback, and coaching, and hates losing more than they like winning. Our team is looking for someone who is confident in their sales convictions, listens more than they talk, can laugh at themselves often, and respects friendly team competition.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of surpassing quota while selling SaaS solutions with >$25k ACV. We are looking for a seller who thrives in an acquisition sales environment.

How You’ll Do It:

  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process to meet or exceed revenue goals in alignment with the company’s core values
  • Build 5X pipeline to ensure successful achievement of ARR targets
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly bookings and manage a tight pipeline
  • Articulate the path to closure and key tactical steps for all deals
  • Develop winning proposals encompassing all aspects of business cases and ROI metrics
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Learn, master, and apply the Mathison playbook and defined sales processes
  • Collaborate with internal resources as part of our team-selling approach
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience. Cultivate lasting relationships with customers
  • Represent the voice of the customer to cross-functional partners in efforts to drive continuous improvement
  • Comfortable and energized operating and problem-solving in a fast-moving organization, working inbound and outbound opportunities across a range of industries and company sizes
  • Exceed Quota

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant sales experience in an acquisition (hunter) role. Ideally has experience as an SDR at a fast-growing SAAS company prior to 3-5 years in a full-cycle closing role
  • Experience selling to VP and C-Level executives. Bonus if prior sales experience focused on HR Leadership and/or DEI roles
  • Experience selling into Government is a bonus
  • Demonstrable track record of above-target performance - quotas and relevant sales KPIs, especially in a startup environment
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or similar Sales Methodology
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • A strong team player but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Compensation:

The base pay range targeted for this position is: $120K-$150K OTE. This role is eligible for equity.

Minimum starting salary: $70,000 annually + Commission

The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations.
