The Senior Director of Region Contract Sales will be responsible for leading a team of experienced sale professionals covering the Southwest Region (comprised of Arizona, Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico, and West TX area). The Senior Director will own the P & L and be responsible for developing operational plans and strategies that will execute the business priorities. The Senior Director will also be responsible for talent recruitment/advancement, costs control, and the development of relationships with customers throughout the Region.

How You'll Create Possibilities
- Develop Region goals to achieve/exceed share, margin, and price targets.
- Grow, develop, and maintain all customer relationships.
- Develop and execute local market strategies.
- Approve all pricing plans initiated or modified for the Region.
- Work closely with VP of Contract on Region/Account plans.
- Manage, Coach, and Develop Area Sales Managers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of national sales strategy, and associated tactics
- Recruit, select, train, and manage a field sales team: responsible for performance management including compensation, rewards, recognition, feedback, and performance development.
- Working Conditions
- Significant travel required, including some overnight. Candidate must be willing to relocate to within the region. Preferred home office location in AZ, Southern CA, or NV to best cover the Southwest territory. Relocation assistance is available.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years' relevant commercial/sales experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- Previous people management experience
- Self-starter, solid energy, high motivation, and proven customer focus.
- Proven analytical skills; attention to detail.
- Driving is an essential duty of the job; candidates must have a valid driver's license to be considered
- Ability to work well cross-functionally (i.e. marketing, sales, R&D)
- Demonstrated excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to train, develop, and motivate a sales team.
- Exemplary leadership and coaching skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's in Business Administration or Post Graduate degree.
- Experience in the builder industry (doors, windows, insulation, lumber, etc.)
- Extensive experience in the appliances industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of GEA Contract Channel.
- Results-oriented mindset; Plays to win.
- Proven Sales Management and Marketing experience.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing priorities.
