Our Imaging, Navigation and Robotics Division (INR) has seen tremendous growth, as we continue to bring new and exciting products to market, and set the technology standard with our suite of products.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director of Operations will have oversight and leadership direction in further standardizing, expanding and scaling the INR manufacturing, supply chain and logistics functions at our Methuen, MA facilities. The Senior Director of Operations will possess a “lead by example” mentality, while overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the departments, such that the short- and long-term goals of the Company are achieved. This leader will achieve these goals, while maintaining a safe operating environment that is regulatory compliant, delivering the right product at the right cost on time.

Essential Functions:

  • Logistics: Is responsible for all aspects of forecasting, work order/purchase order placement, inventory control with organization committed to zero backorder. Also responsible for all shipping and receiving operations.
  • Purchasing: Is responsible for purchasing department functions-timely RFQ’s, negotiates beneficial payment and delivery terms, vendor audits and qualification, maintains material and compliance certifications and ensures compliance with all FDA regulations on purchasing controls.
  • Manufacturing: Is responsible for smooth setup of manufacturing operations compliant with all FDA regulations resulting in zero citations from any regulatory body. Given the tremendous growth of this business, driving scalability is a key responsibility and driver for success.
  • Continuous Profitability Improvements:
    • Is responsible for maintaining and improving company profitability through monthly contract, vendor, purchasing and manufacturing reviews. Proactively identifies scope changes, analyzes spending trends and assesses resource utilization
    • Develops and executes yearly profitability increase plans with quarterly reports to CEO
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • Ten to fifteen years of demonstrated experience in an assembly manufacturing operating environment, preferably in the health care or technology fields.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility across manufacturing, supply chain and logistics functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and execute on scaling operations to align with increasing demand
  • Global supply chain experience with specific focus on product and component sourcing, specifications and cost negotiations.
  • Proven leader of people with strong self-starting skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities required for successful job completion.
  • Well organized, detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
  • Ability to adequately represent and reflect company philosophy as part of management team to customers, investors, regulatory agencies and industry peers.
  • Proficient in preparation of reports and budgets.
  • Master’s Degree in Business/Administration required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
