The responsibility of the Sr. Director of Human Resources is to deliver support to the leadership team in all human resource functions. The Sr. Director of Human Resources is expected to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the HR Department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s culture.

- Position is 100% Remote, with occasional travel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies to ensure the organization has the right talent in the right roles at the right time.
- Champions an organizational culture that is inclusive and diverse to create a workplace where every employee feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
- Implement and manage HR systems and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy.
- Create, track, and report on department KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Ensure effective management of HR systems, technology, and data analytics to support the business needs of the organization.
- Coach and support leadership in building a positive culture and hiring, retaining, and engaging a strong team.
- Develop and manage the hiring process including phone screens, interviews, and offers.
- Develop and manage the on-boarding processes designed to drive seamless experience for new hires across multiple entities and geographies.
- Develop and manage the orientation process for all new hires.
- Oversee and coordinate the performance management process, including performance evaluations, development plans for growth, and performance improvement plans.
- Work with leadership to design and facilitate the Leadership Pipeline program.
- Own employee engagement surveys, ensuring their effective administration, analysis, and interpretation to gather valuable insights on employee satisfaction.
- Maintain the Employee Policy and Procedure Handbook to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Identify and analyze local compensation and benefit practices to ensure financial competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain disciplinary process including training to and being a part of disciplinary conversations utilizing proper procedure with forms and improvement plans as necessary.
- Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into employee disputes and make recommendations to leadership on appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage terminations including training to and being a part of the termination process utilizing proper procedure.
- Oversee that personnel files are up to date and accurate including performing periodic internal audits and taking corrective action as applicable.

Hours Worked

Qualifications:
- Must have 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Multi-Site/Multi-State Healthcare Leadership experience is preferred.
- Master’s degree and/or SPHR Certification preferred.
- Position is 100% remote with occasional travel.
- Must reside in the organization operating footprint.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills including communication with all levels and the ability to build relationships easily and with authenticity.
- Creative, proactive thinker, who loves to learn, actively seeks solutions, and identifies process improvements.
- Must be very competent with the computer, have Microsoft skills and the ability to work on the internet.
- Must have a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must continue to study and attend HR functions to be up to date on changing policies.
