Job Description:
This position is responsibilities include:
- Oversee the facility maintenance and expansion of NY CREATES, FRMC, and FSMC sites, including new cleanrooms, office space, parking, and related infrastructure to support those spaces.
- Work with VP of Technology and Infrastructure in developing site plans ensuring the plans are in line with NY CREATES strategic goals.
- Ensure continuous operations of the essential services of the site in emergency situations, including but not limited to inclement weather conditions and pandemic situations.
- Establish and cultivate key relationships and partnerships with tenants and industry partners, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Provide effective management and direction to the FOG, FEG, EHS, and TGMS teams that support NY CREATES buildings and Infrastructure
- Maintain a tight link between the NY CREATES facilities capabilities and needs and the strategic tasks executed by the fab operations and technology development teams to deliver technology programs within those facilities
- Maintain a close tie to industry and academic partner stakeholders that operate their programs within the NY CREATES facilities. Balance needs and investment to enable mutual successes
- Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance shutdowns of the site, ensuring that the shutdowns happen in a timely manner, minimizing the impact to operations.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements for Senior Director of Facilities and Infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years experience in Engineering, Facilities Operations, or related field in a manufacturing or semiconductor fab environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication to include clear, concise, and accurate delivery.
- Experience with the management of large teams in support of Facilities management, facilities operations, and health and safety related functions
- A strong understanding of, and experience in, moving strategies from concept to implementation.
- Ability to work well in a variety of environments, solving complex problems in a multiple stakeholder environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 15+ years experience in Engineering, Facilities Operations, or related field in a manufacturing or semiconductor fab environment
- An ideal candidate for this position will have the following characteristics:

Salary Range: $190,000-$250,000
- Posted rate is dependent of education and experience.
