Senior Diagnostics Project ManagerLiveWhat you will do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Senior Dx PM at Amgen oversees various Dx projects from inception to completion. They develop Dx project plans, coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
In this vital role, you will work with the Diagnostic Development teams to support the execution of high quality, global, integrated cross-functional diagnostic project plans for one or more products in support of the overall program strategy. You will work with Amgen Product Development teams and external companies to ensure that Dx timelines and deliverables are integrated with the overall clinical development timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Working with the Dx strategy and technical Leads to identify key Dx deliverables for each function and their inter-dependencies.
- Manage Dx joint project team decision log, meeting minutes, budget, forecast.
- Tracking Dx deliverables to ensure Dx timelines are in sync with overall clinical development timelines.
- Manage and track Dx regulatory timelines and risks
- Facilitates planning for diagnostic development and commercialization activities that support key drug development stage-gate decision points (e.g., First in Human, End of Phase 2/3, Filing, and Launch)
- Manage Dx Development Team (DxDT) SharePoint site to centralize DxDT information, planning, and budget
- Implements standard PM methodologies and ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability.
- Reinforces proper decision making according to Amgens Decision-Making Framework
- Facilitates resource planning, financial and capacity assessments.
- Conducts risk management, contingency and scenario planning using a variety of project management tools.
- Leads review and execution of Diagnostic development budget, processing of invoices, purchase orders, contracts, statements of work.
- Develops and manages positive relationships with external business partners and strategic alliances

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree with 2 years of Project Management Experience in Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related fields
OrMasters degree and 6 years of Project Management Experience in the Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related fields
OrBachelors degree and 8 years of Project Management experience in Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related fields
OrAssociates degree and 10 years of Project Management experience in Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related fields.
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience in Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related fields.
Preferred Qualifications:- 4+ years experience in a diagnostic development Project Management role.
- Drug and / or Diagnostic Development knowledge with basic to strong understanding of clinical development process.
- Successful track record of CDx development, regulatory filing and Dx launch.
- Successful track record of implementing Project Management tools, methodologies, practices and infrastructure, as related to the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
