BT Prep is Baker Tilly’s (BT) nationally centralized “processing center” established to gain efficiency, standardize processes, reduce costs but most importantly to more effectively utilize the time of our accounting professionals. BT offers a professional, yet fun work environment. You will feel at home quickly and will be supported by tax specialists who are available to help guide you and answer questions. Full-time or flexible hour’s available, paid training will be provided and there is the opportunity to return each tax season.

What you will do:
- As a Senor Data Specialist you will be an integral member of the firm’s centralized tax processing center providing the following:
- Validate, for accuracy, data and scanned confidential documents for individual tax returns
- Assist with data entry work as needed
- Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling
- Participate in special projects as necessary
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
- A high school diploma/GED preferred
- Prior Tax Support experience and knowledge of tax concepts, preferred
- A demonstrated working knowledge of computers required
- The ability to pay extreme close attention to detail and follow directions and outlined procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-focused environment
- Availability to work February 2024 through mid-April 2024
Additional Information
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00 hourly. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
