Your Role:

The Sr. Associate Quality Control Chemist (Data Review) at MilliporeSigma's Sheboygan Falls, WI site is responsible for reviewing stock suitability data in accordance with guidelines of the quality management system. Additional daily tasks include the following:

• Perform routine secondary analytical Data Review
• Evaluate stock suitability
• Produce controlled documentation such as Certificate of Analysis and product specifications
• Interpret scientific data such as titration, spectroscopy and chromatography
• Compare analytical data against established data library(s) and product specification(s)
• Maintain complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines
• Perform standard stoichiometry and unit conversions
• Safely handle, process, route and request samples
• Train new hires on relevant SOPs and operations in assigned work area(s), as defined
• Perform intermediate analytical problem solving
• Submit chemical sample requests for investigation and stock inspection
• Process change requests through the change management system
• Work with master data team to resolve system(s) and product issues
• Maintain and support general quality review functions
Write and submit quality deviation record(s) for management review

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering or other life science discipline

OR

1+ year of secondary education and 1+ year of laboratory or quality review experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Data Integrity and Good Documentation
• Knowledge in chemistry, math, and general science
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic understanding of analytical tools and equipment
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices
• Compute chemical calculations and conversions
• Adaptable, self-motivated, critical thinker
• Organization and time management skills
• Database software management skills
• Detail oriented and skilled in making independent decisions
Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, and Word experience
