This position is based in Plano, TX with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.

Who We’re Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Data & Analytics (DnA) team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Data Quality Developer, Senior

What you’ll be doing

  • Own design, develop, and deliver Data Quality products and document best practices for Data Quality procedures for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Data Quality management and as an Enterprise advocate for Enterprise Data Quality Management standards and policies.
  • Identify areas for Data Quality improvements and help to resolve Data Quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Identify automation opportunities and work towards improving issue resolution within SLA.
  • Monitor and report on Data Quality issues and improvements.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support Data Stewards in Data Quality management efforts that directly contribute towards major enterprise initiatives.
  • Perform environment upgrades as needed.
  • Create and manage Data Quality metrics for each business unit.
  • Define Data Quality product roadmaps and execute the plan to deliver the committed deliverables.
  • Support any or all requests for any new Data Quality API application services.
  • Implement and maintain Data Quality processes using Informatica Cloud Data Quality.
  • Develop and manage Data Quality rules, validations, and cleansing routines.
  • Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to improve Data Quality across the organization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to support data-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the scrum team to translate business requirements into the product roadmap, EPICs, and sprint backlog.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems or Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
  • Solid professional delivery experience in IT Industry.
  • Solid hands-on development experience with API driven Data Quality services using programming languages such as Python
  • 3+ years of solid Data Quality Management experience.
  • Implement DQ rules and maintain Data Quality processes using IDQ
  • Exposure to data governance tools such as Axon, EDC, DataBuck, Collibra, Alation, or similar.
  • Knowledge of information technologies, standards, and best practices prevalent in data governance, data management, Data Quality, and data privacy.
  • Familiarity with data management principles and practices in Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK).
  • Experience in an agile work environment and a good understanding of agile principles and best practices.
  • Experience with task management tools such as JIRA, confluence, etc.

Added Bonus, if you have.

  • Master’s degree in computer science or MIS.
  • Knowledge of ad-hoc reporting and analytic tools.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • Ability to bridge business and technical concepts.
  • Experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
  • Familiarity with Industry standard Data quality management tools and features.
