Meet the Team:
This individual is a talented Project Manager with experience supporting cybersecurity and IT teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Cyber/IT functionality and protection of our global organization and its stakeholders. As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role bridging the gap between business needs, technological solutions, and Cybersecurity best practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand and document their requirements and analyze processes to design efficient project plans, schedules, and reports for various IT/Cyber projects and programs. This role will lead the execution of those plans, own project/program documentation, and provide reports and dashboards to IT/Cyber Leadership that lead to decisions and actions to enhance our capabilities.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of objectives and needs.
- Evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and Cybersecurity/IT teams. Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and IT teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. Design and document system workflows, data models, and user interfaces.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and motivation. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate project status, updates, risks, and resource allocations to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure that expectations are managed and that the project meets business objectives.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. Assess the impact of changes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
- Triage all incoming IT Service Desk tickets.
- Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards & reports for the Service Desk operations at the team, subteam, and individual member level.
- Analyze and support enhancement of IT policy set to ensure conformance with best practices such as ITIL and COBIT.
- Analyze and support enhancement of cybersecurity policy set to ensure conformance with ISO 27001.
- Serve as quality control and support to cybersecurity training program development and maintenance.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- Demonstrates competencies and skills typically achieved through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years+) in cybersecurity or IT project management or similar.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, or CIS.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project), IT tools (e.g, Jira Service Manager), and report/dashboard creation.
- Proficient in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Critical/logical thinking to identify problems and provide solutions to ensure solutions move us towards an efficient, cybersecure self-driving truck.
