Caterpillar is hiring a Senior Customer Services Consultant for specialty markets and field install kits. This role will be part of our Earthmoving Medium Wheel Loaders Commercial team. You will develop strategies and lead projects to drive increased sales in the Waste, Industrial, and Forestry market segments. You will also manage a portfolio of dealer installed field kits that help our dealers equip the machine for the intended application.
What You'll Do
Serve as the consultant for Medium Wheel Loaders specialty markets and field install kits
Gather voice of customer, voice of dealer, and voice of business related to specialty markets
Manage North America factory stock forecast
Coordinate build positions
Support go to market activities for New Product Introductions as they relate to the specialty industries
Collaborate with others to ensure the right mix of attachments are offered regionally to support the specialty industries
Manage contracts, demand signal, and price lists for Medium Wheel Loaders Defense models
What You Have
Effective communicator to influence and lead others
Extensive experience in data gathering and analysis
Expert problem solver with expert level customer focus
Extensive experience in decision making and critical thinking
Demonstrated ability to organize actionable plans
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Engineering background or NPI experience
Previous field experience
Experience with Medium Wheel Loader products or similar equipment
Knowledge of specialty markets and customer needs
Familiarity with Caterpillar systems and processes
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong presentation and effective communication skills
Additional Information
Expected travel is 25%
Work location is Peoria, IL and requires 3 days per week of onsite work
Domestic relocation assistance is offered for this position
